Decker Diamond Jewelers sponsored a table at this year's 2008 Pink Ribbon Ball, held at the Sunnehenna Country Club in Westmont, Pennsylvania.  For this year's event Dan and Fran Decker designed and created "Pink Embrace" a pendant to be donated for auction benefiting breast cancer research.   The exclusive pendant was the first in a special limited series of 25.  All future Pink Embrace pendant sales will benefit Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center in Windber, PA, with 100% of the proceeds being donated to the center.

Local Jeweler Designs Pendant for Charity

(Ebensburg, Pennsylvania) - Dan and Fran Decker - Owners of Decker Diamond Jewelers - designed and created an exclusive Hearts on Fire diamond pendant to benefit local charity.  "Pink Embrace," a 14k white gold pendant set with a single Hearts on Fire Diamond and natural Pink Sapphires will make its debut appearance at this year's Pink Ribbon Ball in Johnstown, PA on March 1, 2008.

"We are donating the very first Pink Embrace pendant created for auction at the Pink Ribbon Ball, which benefits Breast Cancer Research," states Dan Decker.  More Pink Embrace pendants will be created for the public to purchase and 100% of the proceeds of every pendant purchased will be donated to Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center.

"We are excited to be giving back to the community while at the same time supporting such a wonderful cause.  Breast Cancer touches everyone's lives, we all know someone affected by cancer in some way," states Fran Decker.  "This is a way to honor your loved one with a beautiful and unique piece of art while also supporting cancer research for a cure.
